Released from Young Women's
So last Sunday I had to work. As I was sitting there with one of our patients (nearing the end of his life), my work cell rings. It is Dave and I figured it must be URGENT or else he would have left me a message on my personal cell. He hands the phone to the 2nd Counselor, wherein I was released and called into the Primary... How hilarious is that?!?!? Must say it was the most intriguing way I have been asked!! So, now I am the 2nd counselor in the Primary Presidency. I am very sad to leave the young women that I worked with, but am excited for this new adventure. I now will get to see Mireya in action every Sunday!!

Navy Memorial in Charleston
Navy Memorial in Charleston
Dave was a Submariner for 10 years...some of the best in his life. He was GREAT at what he did. Dave left this Port when it was closed down. They are in the process of building a beautiful memorial. I was really glad we made it down there to see it..
For those of you who know me, know I have a special place in my heart for the good 'ol USA. I love our country. I am forever thankful to those men and women who made our freedom possible. Thank you to past, present, and future military men and women. The Statues are named "The Homecoming" and "The Lone Sailor"...

Dear Blog,
Sorry I have neglected you, and sorry to friends and family who have given up on me. Was just going to can it but started looking thru my pictures and decided that wasn't an option. Dave and I had the most amazing opportunity to go back east in May for Merrill's Ungraduation. :o) Enjoy!!!
The first two pictures are of the mansions on the Battery in Charleston, SC. The next is of a slave house on Magnolia Plantation. The one after is of the Magnolia Mansion, and the last is the famous Duke Chapel. GO Tarheels...jk Merrill. Duke Rules!!
